With the end of year fast approaching, I can't help but reflect on what a significant year this has been for Mote Marine Laboratory. In February, we lost our beloved Founding Director, Dr. Eugenie Clark, affectionately known as our Shark Lady. Genie's passing made it all the more clear how important Mote's work is and how critical it is that we continue her legacy for generations to come.
