Summer is in full swing and so are we! As I come into the Lab everyday, I am so pleased to see all the children participating in our summer camps, with enthusiastic faces as they gear up for what they will learn today. Mote Marine Laboratory's research programs address some of the most pressing issues facing society today. Our education and outreach programs help convey this knowledge to the community, including the young minds in our summer programs – our next generation of ocean stewards and marine scientists. Mote's shared knowledge empowers people of all ages to better understand and protect our treasured marine resources.
